22 October 2006 12 kayakers paddled South Slough which is just south of Charleston, Oregon. Paddlers paddled into Sengstacken Arm. Lots of high tide, bright, clean, sunny, and very little wind.
On the way in we passed a tree that had a half dozen or so Snowy Egrets sitting in it.
